The first screen that you see when your computer starts up is called the "desktop". This is where you see all of your icons, etc. From this point, double-click on the icon that has the words "My
Computer" under it. When this opens a new window, it will have a list of all the different drives (places that information can possibly be stored) on the machine, and also an icon for the control panel.
Find the drive that has "C:" on it and double-click it. You will then be presented with a list of all the folders on c: (pronounced "C drive"). Look at the menu a the top and click on the
word "File". When the menu opens, click on "New". A new menu should open to the right. Click on "Folder". The screen will scroll suddenly and somewhere near the bottom of the list,
if not at the bottom, will be a folder with the name new folder. Type the word "craftfinder" and press the "ENTER" key. Congratulations. You just created a folder. Click on "File"
on the menu bar at the top, then click on "Exit".
The folder that you created called craftfinder is where we are going to save the patterns that you download.
Open your internet browser and go to www.craftfinder.com Find the pattern you want.
Step 1: When you have found the item that you want (or items), click on the download button for that item. I circled it in red for you to find easier.

Step 2: After clicking on that button, it will take you to your shopping cart screen which looks like this:

If you wish to continue shopping, click on the button labeled 'Continue Shopping'. If you are finished and wish to check out, click on the button labeled 'Check Out'. Once you have done that,
you will be taken to a screen that asks for your name, address, and other information. All areas that have a red asterisk next to them are required. At the bottom of the page, you will see
where you enter your credit card number and there will be a breakdown of the things you have ordered. It will look like this (with credit card area removed):

Step 3: Once all the information is entered, click on the button 'Place Order Now'. Once you have clicked on the button, don't click on it a second time. Sometimes placing an order can take up to 60 seconds.
If you'll also notice the yellow padlock in the bottom right, that means that your information is being sent securely over the internet.

Step 4: For each item that can be downloaded immediately, you will see a link next to it such as the one circled in red above. You must download each individually before clicking on the link
circled in green. Furthermore, you have only 24 hours to complete the downloads. Otherwise, you will have big problems. Here is how it is done.
Step 4a: Using the right mouse button (the one on the right side of the mouse), click on the 'Download Now' link. A small grey menu will open. From that menu, select 'Save Target As...'. A
window will open that looks similar to this:

Click on the little down arrow that is circled in red. It will then look something like this:

Click on "C:" and then find your folder, "Craftfinder", and double click on it. Then click on "Save".
The other method is to simply click on the Download Now link and it will open a window like this:

Once this window is open, click on the disk button (circled in red), and you will be presented with a window similar to the other method. Find your folder again and save the file there. From the window
above, you can print the pattern. If you used the other method of download, here is how to find your file and print it.
On the desktop, there is an icon that is labeled "My Computer". Double click on that icon. Double click on "C:" Double click on the folder labeled "Craftfinder"
Find the pattern you want to print, and double click on that file. Acrobat Reader will open (Similar to above picture) and you can then print the pattern.
Congratulations. You have downloaded, saved and printed your new pattern.
